Elmeri Suomi is the founder and CEO of SunBit Oy, a Finnish startup he launched in 2023 to turn Bitcoin mining heat into home heating. After mining Bitcoin in 2020 and noticing how much heat the machines produced, he combined that with a background in heating and energy sales to build the Bitcoin Boiler, a system that submerges miners in immersion fluid and routes the captured heat into water-based radiators, floor heating, and hot water. SunBit runs remote-managed installations in Finland aimed at making home heating effectively free.
