Francis Mars is a Portugal-based Bitcoin and Lightning developer and the creator of Chain Duel, a real-time Lightning game where players compete for sats. He also builds PubPay, a Nostr-based payments client, and MarsPay, a framework for Lightning-staked matches using LNURL and Nostr identity. A University of Lisbon graduate and 2024 Sovereign Engineering alum, he focuses on practical tools that make Bitcoin and Nostr usable in everyday contexts.
