Joe Antek is a technology infrastructure builder and architect, and a long-time Bitcoiner. In 2024 he set out to contribute to Bitcoin by applying his networking experience to how Bitcoin nodes intercommunicate, and found a flaw in the network's sybil defences. His career most notably includes OpenStack architecture at Red Hat, backbone and CDN work at Rumble, and going all the way back to 1997, founding an ISP.
