Mark Artymko is President and co-founder of OCEAN, the non-custodial Bitcoin mining pool that pays miners directly from the coinbase and carries forward Luke Dashjr's Eligius lineage. A power systems engineer with 18 years designing and operating high-voltage grids across Canada and the United States, he spent roughly 15 years at Hydro One as a NERC-certified system operator before transmission work at ITC in Michigan. He came to Bitcoin in 2021 and now drives OCEAN's work on mining decentralization, including DATUM, which returns block-template construction to individual miners.
