Robert Schulman is Chairman of the Board of MinersLoop, the Seinäjoki-based Finnish company that channels Bitcoin-mining waste heat into the city's district-heating network. Its data center cools mining hardware in oil-immersion baths and feeds the recovered heat through a heat-pump plant into the grid, where it is the city's largest local waste-heat source and covers roughly 3% of district-heating demand, set to rise toward 6% with a current expansion.
