Europe is writing the rules for Bitcoin while it is still deciding what Bitcoin is. MiCA, the digital euro, and a supervisory apparatus that grows whether or not it works. This panel takes both halves: the regulation already landing on anyone trying to build a Bitcoin business in Europe, and the political direction underneath it, including Iceland's recent referendum. Whether Bitcoin ends up breaking the EU's model, or the EU ends up breaking itself.
